Julio Ramundo Head of Carbon Business and Corporate Venture Suzano Ventures

Julio Ramundo oversees all corporate venture capital activities. In his role, he is seeking to invest in companies aligned with Suzano’s passion for creating environmental solutions through sustainable innovation. Prior to this, Julio spent 3 years as Director of Corporate Finance at Suzano where he managed the implementation of the company’s Sustainability-Linked Bonds – the first of their kind in the Americas. His financial expertise comes as a result of almost 16 years working in the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), including 5 years as Managing (Executive) Director. Julio holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and an MBA from London Business School.
