Mari-Ann Meigo Fonseca is the co-founder and COO of Gelatex Technologies. Gelatex is a materials technology company that makes materials for the right texture, cost-parity, and mass-production of cell-cultured meat. The innovation relies on a patent-pending HaloSpin™ technology for nanofibers production that is the fastest in the world to make bio-based nanofibers and is used also for wound care, filtration, and other industries. Mari-Ann has an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management and has worked in product development and manufacturing optimization in the textile industry, as a business consultant, and as a project manager.
